THE ATTACKS AGAINST ISRAEL

Israel has accomplished this amazing rebuilding ... the budding of the fig tree ... despite some of the most vicious attacks on their nation, and their people, in the history of man.

Some of the most graphic attacks include:

THE ROMAN SLAUGHTER

All the victims of the bombings of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Tokyo, Rotterdam, Coventry, and London, together do not equal the number of Jews killed by the Romans in the siege of Jerusalem in the year 70. According to historian Josephus, the Jewish fatalities then numbered 1,100,000!

THE FIFTEEN OCCUPATIONS

Jerusalem, which means "City of Peace," has been ruled by fifteen different peoples: the Canaanites, Israelites, Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Saracens, Arabs, the Crusaders, Ottoman Turks, the British, and today, once again, by the Jews. During ALL of these conquests, from the time the Jews entered the Promised Land, Jerusalem has never lost its Jewish associations.

THE HOLOCAUST

The Holocaust—the so-called FINAL SOLUTION, killed six million Jews, but even Hitler's desperate attempt to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth failed. In fact, what Hitler intended for evil, God used for good. The Holocaust, more than any other factor, moved the United Nations to establish the Jewish HOMELAND of Israel in 1948. Hitler, in trying to destroy the Jews, actually was a catalyst to preserve them as a people and a nation!

Despite Hitler's highly organized and massive army, and despite his extensive plan to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth, modern-day Jews continue to survive ... and prosper!
